The Saritsa Foundation is not to be confused the charity foundation with the same name. My family last name before I took my wife’s name was Saritsa and I wanted to honor that name somehow so that’s why I chose it here. Pretty much, we give a voice for old retired appliance repair technicians, landscapers, stone masons, carpenters and other tradesmen because they have so many stories that I believe should be heard by people who are interested.
This blog at www.saritsafoundation.org gives a platform for retired men to share their stories. The broader public may not find many of these stories very interesting but the wider public doesn’t have to read them if they don’t want to. This blog is also for retired men to read what other people who had similar lives to them might think about certain things. I also hope that young men and women entering the workforce can be inspired by some of the stories on here, inspired to be good and make the right choices. For example a story about honor from a retired refrigeration technician might inspire a young man to make good choices at work.
So that’s the gist of it. To learn more I recommend you read our blog and stay tuned for upcoming posts!
